I have a question with 2005 SLC being ranked #6. This should be the top 13 in order by year.Well known high school athletics website, MaxPreps, is celebrating their 10th year by publishing articles about High School Top Tens from the past 10 years. And a few Texas notables made some of their lists...

2007 Katy is my #1 team. How does MAXPREPS have them lined up? Something that should
be taken into consideration before ranking 2003 GP North Shore #1 in Texas is the fact that
they were #2 or 3 Nationally that year behind Concord DLS,Cal. and also -- that wasn't DLS's
best team. Their 1994,1999,2001 teams more than likely rank above them.
.
1. 2000 Katy
2. 2003 GALENA PARK NORTH SHORE
3. 2003 KATY
4. 2003 SLC
5. 2004 SLC
6. 2005 SLC
7. 2006 SLC
8. 2007 KATY
9. 2009 ABILENE
10. 2010 PEARLAND
11. 2010 EULESS TRINITY
12. 2011 SLC
13. 2011 SPRING DEKANEY

This is quite interesting. DLS was #1 in 2003 and SLC & Lakeland were 1-2 in 2006. I believe 2007 Katy was their best team.Maxpreps covers high school sports nationwide. This ranking was for single-season teams.

I don't know what's happened to this board but all I'm seeing for the past week is "money & financial talk".That was 2010.
Looking at the National Football rankings -- John Curtis made a big statement blasting Plant,Fla. and rose
to as high as #2 in MAXPREPS. Another Louisiana 2A team may be #2 overall in that state is
Shreveport Evangel. They just blasted Texarkana, Tx. 49-7. I know Texarkana isn't anywhere near
the top of its class; but I doubt if anyone will beat them that bad. Evangel also won their opener 56-0.
They might make a lot of noise before all's said and done.
