Notre Dame is today ranked # 1 in the BCS.
I was told years ago to hang in there, that football is a game of attrition -
meaning that those ahead of you will get beat or hurt..

So it is true that N.D. won the way they were supposed to win and
they persevered. It paid off for them.

I hope to see Alabama and Notre Dame in the Nat'l Championship Game.
