Miami Central at Don Bosco Prep - Very intriguing. Love Central's backs and overall speed so they have to be the early favorite here.
Booker T. Washington vs. Norcross - Maybe the game I'm looking forward to most. Both teams should be loaded but I'm going with Norcross for now.
St. Ignatius vs. Paramus Catholic - I know PC has Peppers but I'll go with Ignatius here.
John Curtis vs. St. Thomas Aquinas - Tough to say. Seems like both teams lost a lot, but I will go with STA.
Euless Trinity at Bentonville - Intrigued by this one right now. Bentonville did well OOS last year and has a good thing going in Arkansas even though they didn't win state last year. Still have to like Trinity here though.
DeMatha vs. Godby - DeMatha seems like it has a lot of talent again but I will go with Godby here.
Thoughts?

Central better get a QB, or they won't be scoring much.Let's get some discussion on some of the bigger games this coming year:

I believe it's going to be the kid that played the 2nd half against Manatee and started from that point forward.
He's okay; better than the guy they had starting against Grayson (Yearby started the 2nd half at QB against Booker T.).

If he plays well, Central wins by 10, if not, it's a toss up game.
I don't think DBP will have much success on offense against Central.

Bosco could gash Central a few times if they have some nice screens into the middle of the field. Other than that Central should be able to handle their offense just fine.
I'm of the same opinion you are. If the QB plays well Central wins a 20-10 type of game, if he doesn't, it'll come down to the final few minutes - which would favor Bosco.

He'll probably end up in SoCal.Looks like The Bishop just lost their two big recruits (DE is enrolling at BYU early, and RB Nate Starks dismissed from school). Unless they've got some big time firepower at the lower levels they'll be in some serious trouble for their OOS games.

I'm sure SpongeBob has already sent his future farmers brochure out to Las Vegas.

What I want to know is what exactly he did to get booted.

From your picks above: I agree on Miami Central. I also agree that BTW vs. Norcross is an intriguing matchup. This should give us a clearer picture of what both teams bring into the season. I'm thinking that the loss of Alvin Kamara and their QB may put Norcross at a disadvantage. BTW has more key players back, so I'm going with them for now. I think DeMatha can take Godby, but maybe I'm underestimating Godby. If STA has a solid D-line as usual, this could be a matchup problem for Curtis, but I think it also comes down to which team gels quicker. I agree with Trinity over Bentonville. Trinity was a young team last year and should be better this year. As for Iggy and PC - I'd need to get a clearer picture of who Iggy has coming back. This is a chance for PC to put themselves on the map nationally.

For those who's reaction to the Colerain/ParkVista matchup was "WTF," it appears the explanation for the game can be traced to Coach Dodds having a Cincinnati connection, having coached at Princeton in 2003/2004.

-----------------------------------------------------
LV Bishop's OOS schedule looks like this:
----------------------------------------(2012 Record)
H 8-23 Phoenix Mt. View, Ariz (12-2)
H 8-30 Anaheim Servite, Cal (3-7)
A 9-06 Rancho Santa M, Cal (9-3)
H 9-13 Encino Crespi, Cal (8-2)
A 9-21 Oradell Berg Cath,NJ (8-4)
H 10-4 Miami Wash, Fla (13-1) ESPN2
----------------------------------------- I saw that Both Seffner Armwood & Miami Central,Fla. forfeited their entire 2011 seasons.
Anyone know what the story is on that?

They had ineligible players (violation of state transfer rules). Armwood seems to have been pretty severely impacted by it. MC seems to have weathered it.
