Established:
1915 (as the one-room White Oak Colored School). Became part of Aldine ISD in 1937. Moved to a larger campus on Wheatley Road in 1941 and renamed the George Washington Carver School. Split into separate elementary and high schools in 1954, with Carver High moving to its present location on Victory Street.

First UIL Varsity Season:
1967 (Member of the Prairie View Interscholastic League (PVIL) until the UIL integrated)

Final Varsity Season:
1977 (Became a magnet/alternative school after the 1977-78 academic year and discontinued sports)
