Hull-Daisetta has several claims to fame in their very touted football history. In 1939 they won their 43rd consecutive game, which was the longest high school football game winning streak in the nation at that point in time, not surpassed in Texas until Abilene won 49 in a row in 1957. The 43 game winning streak remains the 6th longest winning streak in U.I.L. football history as of 2009. In the early 1960's they set several defensive records, with 10 consecutive shutouts in 1963 and 19 shutouts in 21 games from 1963-1964.
