Cibolo Steele running back Brenden Brady has seen offers pour in throughout the last two months but on Friday, the San Antonio-area product announced his commitment to the Rice Owls.

A three-star prospect, Brady has compiled 20 total offers to date with some of the nation’s most revered institutions in the mix, such as Air Force, Army, Navy, Cornell, Duke, Harvard, Princeton and Yale.

As a junior for Steele, Brady has his way out of the backfield to the tune of 1,656 yards and 20 scores on 240 carriers, along with another 16 receptions for 277 yards and three scores.

Ranked as the nation’s No. 72 running back and the No. 158 player in Texas, Brady is the highest ranked member of Rice’s 2018 class, which is now up to 10 total pledges.
