DALLAS — TAPPS product Brian Williams, the No. 1 safety in the nation in the Class of 2019 per 247Sports’compsite rankings made an early decision on where he’ll be playing at the next level.

The Dallas Bishop Dunne safety announced his commitment to Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies on Sunday.

Williams chose the Aggies over Notre Dame and Stanford among a host of others. Newly hired defensive coordinator Mike Elko, who was the primary recruiter for Williams, was pleased by the news of his commitment.

The five-star rated safety became the fourth commitment in the Class of 2019 for Texas A&M and credited the relationship built him and Elko.

“Just Jimbo and and Elko and everyone made it the perfect fit and they have an amazing engineering program as well,” Williams told 247Sports.

Williams intercepted 13 passes in each of his last two seasons and will be a player to watch during the 2018 season.
