LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) –
In 16 years as a Texas High school football coach, Chad Morris won nearly 170 games. That’s including two state championships with Lake Travis and one with Bay City.
An Edgewood native, Morris received his first coaching job at Eustace high school in 1992 and eventually worked his way to becoming the offensive coordinator at Clemson from 2011 to 2014.
Its easy to see this East Texan is a winner and now in his second season as the SMU head coach, Morris is looking turn the Mustangs into a contender.
