The Sun Devils just shored up their defensive backfield with Dominique Harrison, who played his high school football at Atascocita, and spent the last year playing for Blinn College.

Atascocita has seen lots of recent success. The Eagles were on the outside in terms of deep playoff runs, but last year punched their way to the state semifinals, beating North Shore and Houston Lamar along the way. Their season ended in the 5th round with a loss to eventual state title winner Lake Travis.
While at Atascocita, Harrison was a first team All-District and an All-Area performer. At Blinn he was excellent as well, recording four interceptions in only nine games.
