Lake Travis Quarterback Matthew Baldwin Commits To Colorado State

Another year, another Division 1 quarterback for the Lake Travis Cavaliers. Matthew Baldwin, the heir apparent, announced on Twitter that he would be committing to Colorado State.

Baldwin takes over a Lake Travis team that went 15-1 and won a state title in 2016. He’s already quarterbacked them to a state 7 on 7 title, and many are predicting the Cavaliers to make another deep playoff run, and potentially find themselves in the title game for the third year in a row.

The Cavaliers will be tested almost immediately. They open their season with Converse Judson, and will face Cibolo Steele the following week.
