Mustang senior offensive lineman Tavin Parker, 18, was killed in a crash on a farm-to-market road Sunday morning in Dobbin, Texas.

As reported by yournewshouston.com, DPS officials identified Parker as the driver who died in the single-car wreck.

Magnolia West offensive line coach Chris Garrison said via Twitter that “Tavin was a great young man. I loved coaching him on the o-line. I will truly miss him.”

The DPS fatality report stated the Ford Expedition Parker drove traveled at an “unsafe speed for the curve in the road.” He was ejected from the vehicle.

Two passengers, both from Magnolia, did not suffer serious injuries.

According to the DPS report, none of the three ocupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

Parker wore No. 54 for the Mustangs.
