Matthew Huhn Commits To SMU

The Mustangs picked up a fairly high-profile recruit on Sunday with the commitment of Matthew Huhn.

The John Jay HS prospect is a three star offensive tackle, a key need for SMU as they fight to keep improving. Huhn had offers from nearly everyone in the nation, but the Mustangs were able to lock him down around two weeks out from National Signing Day.

The Mustangs went 5-7 in 2016 and failed to make it to a bowl game. They’ll need prospects like Huhn if they’re going to climb out of the cellar of college football.
