Every real Texan knows the best high school football in the country is played in our great state.  We realize this is a emotional topic for some folks outside of the state of Texas, so we thought we would let the national poll from HSFA (High School Football America) do the talkin’ for us.

14

Count them, 14 top 100 teams from the state of Texas lead the nation.  The Allen Eagles at N0. 2 lead the way in the top 100 poll, followed by Lake Travis at No. 16.  The Katy Tigers are the third Texas team in the HSFA poll ranked at No. 21.

After Katy we have North Shore at No. 30,  Euless Trinity at No. 34, Aledo at No. 41, Westlake at No. 43, Judson at No. 59, Duncanville at No. 68, Southlake Carroll at No. 77, Cy-Fair at No. 90, Klein Collins at No. 95, Permian at No. 97 and Midway at No. 100.

Texas also had two teams that were listed “On The Bubble” with Longview coming in at 112, and Lufkin at 116 on the HSFA poll.
