For our Week Seven Game of the Week, we’ve selected Lake Travis and Austin Westlake in a huge district 25-6A matchup.
Both teams have a loss on their record, but rest assured, these losses aren’t bad ones at all.
Lake Travis lost to Converse Judson by a touchdown in their season opener, but have since found their way back to victory with an overtime win over Cibolo Steele and three blowouts since then. Westlake beat Katy in their opener, but after losing star quarterback Sam Ehlinger to injury their offense has been hampered. With him back, they’re back to their formidable ways.
Both of these teams have explosive offenses and solid defenses. There will be playoff and district title implications on the line. We’ll get to see how Ehlinger looks in his first real test returning from injury. It’s going to be one heck of a game.
