Christian Kirk received first-team accolades for three separate positions: wide receiver, punt returner and all-purpose athletes. In two seasons with A&M, Kirk has grabbed 163 passes for 1,937 yards for 16 scores, returning five punts for touchdowns. As an upperclassman, he will be expected to be a leader in an offense unsure of their quarterback starter.

Safety Armani Watts rounded out the remaining first-team selections for A&M. As a four-year starter, Watts compiled 241 tackles, 14 for loss and six interceptions. Sports Illustrated recently named the former North Forney standout as the No. 61 best player competing in the upcoming season.

Former Manvel and current junior offensive tackle Koda Martin was the only other College Station athlete to represent as a third-team pick.

The media predicted that A&M would finish fifth in the SEC West; the Aggies didn’t receive a single vote for potential SEC champions.
