Tony Romo Expected To Play Sunday Against Eagles

It’s been an amazing ride for the Dallas Cowboys so far, and if they can keep all their starters healthy heading into their first-round bye, they’ll have an actual chance at a deep playoff run. The key point here is to keep all the starters healthy, so in a twist of fate, Tony Romo will likely see the field in second half mop-up duty.

It will be the first time we’ve seen Tony Romo in a regular season game for the Cowboys since Thanksgiving 2015.

Dak Prescott, the incredible rookie, will get the start, and Romo and Mark Sanchez will get playing time down the stretch. We’ll likely see all three as the Cowboys try and prepare Sanchez to likely be the only backup quarterback next year.

The Cowboys are 13-2 on the year, and their only losses have come to the New York Giants.
