The Bobcats have their latest commitment, Jack York from Waxahachie High.

According to 247, York is a three-star prospect, and is the 92nd ranked player in the state’s 2018 class.

Waxahachie started off the 2016 season strong with six good wins, leaning on a blistering offense that included York and TCU commit Jalen Reagor. After their fast start, they fell off in their last four games, ending their season at 6-4, missing a trip to the playoffs.

Texas State had a good start as well, but their start only lasted one game. An overtime victory over Ohio on the road inspired hope, but it was only one of the two wins the Bobcats would get in their 2016 campaign.

The addition of York will bolster the ever-important offensive line for years to come.
