2020 LIBERTY REDHAWKS RECAP
After finding little success in 2018 and 2019, the Liberty Redhawks rebounded in 2020 to make the playoffs. The Redhawks put up some points last year, scoring over 50 four times. Late season district losses to rivals Denison and Lovejoy knocked the Redhawks to the 4th seed, which meant they had to meet state powerhouse Ennis in bi-district, losing 49-0.

2021 Liberty Redhawks Preview
The Redhawks look to have an explosive offense this year, with Junior QB Keldrick Luster (5’10, 205, 4.5) looking to hook up with Senior WR Evan Stewart. Luster was having an amazing season last year as a sophomore before an injury cut it short. The dual threat QB accounted for 26 touchdowns, including 17 on the ground, in just six games. The defense hopes to improve, returning 7 starters, led by Senior LB Daniel Ajayi.
Key 2021 games include Frisco Reedy, Frisco High and Lovejoy
2021 Liberty Redhawks Player Spotlight
Senior Evan Stewart is the top receiver in the country according to ESPN. The Five Star has offers from every major college. He had previously committed to Texas, but decided to open his recruiting back up and do some visits. He’s also a major track star, winning the Dallas Morning New Track Athlete of the Year. Stewart won the Long Jump in this years State Track Meet, as well as finishing second in the Triple Jump and competing in his schools relays. Expect Stewart to get lots of attention from defenses this season and put up huge numbers.
