It took Randle just three full seasons of varsity football to bring home a state title. They defeated South Oak Cliff in a 38-35 thriller in last year’s 5A Division II State Title Game.
The Lions will have hopes of repeating with all the offensive firepower they bring back. Running back Landen Williams-Callis (2,108 rushing yards and 43 touchdowns in 2024) has put up over 4,000 rushing yards across the past two seasons. Alongside him, quarterback Tyler Skrabanek (2,115 passing yards and 25 touchdowns) returns as does last year’s leading receiver DaCorian Rubin(608 receiving yards and six touchdowns).

Randle graduated three of its starting linemen, so seniors right tackle Nicholas Ortiz and center/guard Logan Reed will need to step into leadership roles.
On the other side of the ball, the Lions graduated a number of key seniors, but the cupboard isn’t bare. They should be able to generate pressure off the edge with defensive end Casey Spires and outside linebackers Ryan Mallory and Jaylon Burton. TCU commit linebacker Noriel Dominguezwill make his Randle debut too after playing JV ball last year due to transfer rules.
Randle hasn’t been dwelling on last year’s success as 2025 nears. The Lions know the potential they have on their roster, and they’re ready to make another run at it all this fall.
