Brock coach, player receive national honors

When you’re the best at whatever you do, everyone wants to honor you, it seems.

Now the Brock Eagles have been honored on a national scale.

Maxpreps has selected Eagles coach Chad Worrell as Coach of the Year and junior linebacker Zane Young for the first-team defense on its Small School All-American Football Team.

“This is a tremendous honor for Coach Worrell, Zane, Brock ISD and the Brock Community,” said Brock athletic director Chad Massey.
