Big movers and shakers — This week’s ranking feature teams that moved substantially up the table. Everything is still getting sorted out after the UIL district realignments. Tolar, Malakoff and Harmony (Big Sandy) moved up the rankings after respective undefeated starts to the season.
Yo Cameron Yoe — One thing is for certain, the Yoemen can put up points. After the first two games, the Yoemen are averaging 51-points per game while limited their opponents to a measly 20. Things aren’t getting any easier however; the Yoemen will put their undefeated record on the line against a 4A China Spring Cougars squad.
Gunter look solid — The Tigers are another one of those teams that can put up points in a hurry. The Tigers have amassed 79-points through the first two games including 37 on a strong Pottsboro side. The Tigers continue their season this week against Whitesboro on Sept. 9.
