Highlights
Aledo’s offense could become dominant – The Bearcats return a staggering 9 starters from last years offense, including key quarterback Dillon Davis. Davis threw for 25 touchdowns and only three picks last year. His efficiency is exactly what Aledo needs to make another deep run.
Frisco Lone Star isn’t sneaking up on anyone – After a Cinderella run from Frisco Lone Star in 2015, they won’t catch anyone by surprise. The good news is that quarterback Jason Shelly is returning for the Rangers, giving them a big part of their offense back.
Manny Netherly leads the way for Crosby – Netherly was our reader’s pick for the best wide receiver in Texas, and his work with the Crosby Cougars isn’t done yet. Crosby suffered a surprising loss in the area round last year, but they still return a lot of their firepower in 2016.
