Mansfield, Texas
Another national high school football powerhouse travels to Texas to kick off their 2021 season. The Jenks (OK) Trojans will travel to play the Mansfield Summit Jaguars, Friday, August 27. The kick-off is set for 7:00 pm.
Jenks Trojans
Jenks is one of the top high school football programs in the country, winners of 17 Class 6A-1 State Championships in Oklahoma. They hoisted the golden football once again last season in a 41-14 win over Edmond Santa Fe to finish 12-1.
Under Head Coach Keith Riggs, the Trojans are 30-8 in three years, with three 6A title game appearances, two runner-up finishes, and the aforementioned state title in 2020.
Riggs took over for the legendary Allan Trimble, who coached the Trojans to 13 of those seventeen state championships from 1996 until he retired in 2018.
Sadly, Coach Trimble passed away in 2019 after a courageous three-year battle with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

Summit Jaguars
The Jaguars went 8-5 in 2020 on their way to a 5A State Semifinals appearance, losing to Denton Ryan 49-35.
Summit looks to make another deep playoff run in 2021, and returns several key players:
- QB David Hopkins, 6-1, 200: 1878 yards passing, 16 TDs, 13 INTs. 562 yards rushing and nine touchdowns. He posted six games with two passing touchdowns in 2020.
- RB Keon Hobbs, 5-9, 175: 890 yards rushing, eight touchdowns. 268 receiving yards, 2 TDs on 18 catches.
- DL Joseph Adedire, 6-2, 255: 13 sacks last season.
- DB Ahmaad Moses, 5-10, 195: 116 tackles, 3 INTs
- 4 of 5 offensive linemen return.
The Jaguars lost a ton of experience and production to graduation. But the players listed above will make it easier to overcome that loss.
