Week 11 Scenarios:
There are a couple of scenarios when it comes to determining the District 25-6A champion.
Vandegrift can secure the district title with a win over Round Rock. Round Rock secures the district title with a win over Vandegrift and a Hutto win over Cedar Ridge.
If both Cedar Ridge and Round Rock win, there will be a three-way tie for the district title.
Hutto is in the playoffs with a win over Cedar Ridge or a Vista Ridge victory over Stony Point.
Stony Point can only get in the playoffs if it beats Vista Ridge and Cedar Ridge defeats Hutto.
District 26-6A

8. E-Austin | 0-6 | 2-7 | @Del Valle (1-5) Fri. | 2020 |
Week 11 Scenarios:
Lake Travis and Westlake will square off for the district title in their annual rivalry game on Friday.
Bowie also has a spot locked up in the playoffs and will join Lake Travis in the 6A Division I bracket.
Hays is eliminated because it doesn’t have a tiebreaker over either Akins or San Marcos since it was defeated by both teams earlier this season.
That means Akins and San Marcos will square off in a winner-take-all matchup on Friday night to determine which team goes to the playoffs for the first time in four years.
District 27-6A
Team | District Record | Overall Record | Week 11 Opponent | Last Playoff Appearance |
1. X-Cibolo Steele | 6-0 | 9-0 | vs. Smithson Valley (5-1) Fri. | 2020 |

8. E-South San Antonio | 0-6 | 0-9 | @New Braunfels (4-2) Fri. | 2007 |
Week 11 Scenarios:
District 27-6A features a big matchup at the top of the card as Cibolo Steele and Smithson Valley will play for the district title on Friday night.
Beneath those two, New Braunfels is locked into the playoffs for the first time in five years.
With the top three spots locked up, the fight is on for the fourth spot. East Central is in with a win over Clemens.
Clemens is guaranteed to be in the playoffs with a win over East Central and a Converse Judson win over Wagner.
Wagner has a shot to get in if it defeats Converse Judson and Clemens defeats East Central, which would create a three-way tie for the final spot.
District 28-6A
Team | District Record | Overall Record | Week 11 Opponent | Last Playoff Appearance |
1. Y-San Antonio Johnson | 7-0 | 9-0 | @Clark (4-3) Sat. | 2020 |
2. X-San Antonio Reagan | 6-1 | 6-3 | vs. Brandeis (5-2) Fri. | 2020 |

8. E-San Antonio Lee | 1-7 | 1-9 | BYE | 1993 |
9. E-San Antonio MacArthur | 0-7 | 0-9 | @Madison (4-3) Fri. | 2017 |
Week 11 Scenarios:
Johnson wrapped up its first district title in four years with a thrilling 46-43 overtime victory over Reagan last week.
Reagan is still guaranteed to represent the district in the 6A Division I playoffs.
After Johnson and Reagan, two tickets remain to be punched, and it gets much more complicated.
Brandeis is in with a win over Reagan or if MacArthur stuns Madison.
Madison is in with a win against Macarthur and a Johnson victory over Clark.
Clark is guaranteed to be in with a win over Johnson and either a Brandeis victory against Reagan or a MacArthur upset win over Madison.
If Reagan beats Brandeis and Clark upsets Johnson and Madison beats MacArthur, the final two spots will go down to a three-way tiebreaker.
Lastly, Roosevelt is eliminated because even if MacArthur beats Madison and Johnson beats Clark, it would lose the three-way tiebreaker to Clark and Madison on points scored.
With a plethora of possible scenarios, this is definitely a district to keep an eye on this weekend.
District 29-6A
Team | District Record | Overall Record | Week 11 Opponent | Last Playoff Appearance |

9. E-San Antonio Stevens | 0-7 | 0-9 | vs. Holmes (3-4) Thu. | 2020 |
Week 11 Scenarios:
The four playoff spots in this district are already locked up with Brennan, Marshall, Taft, and Harlan all set to advance to the postseason.
However, the district title is still up for grabs.
Marshall has already clinched its first playoff berth in nine years and will look for its first district title since 2006 as it takes on Brennan in a winner-take-all showdown for the district crown on Thursday.
Taft, meanwhile, is locked in to represent the district in the 6A Division II playoffs along with Marshall, while Brennan and Harlan are set to head to the 6A Division I playoff bracket.
District 30-6A
Team | District Record | Overall Record | Week 11 Opponent | Last Playoff Appearance |
1. Y-Laredo United South | 5-0 | 6-3 | @Laredo LBJ (1-4) Fri. | 2020 |

5. Laredo Alexander | 2-3 | 3-6 | @United (3-2) Thu. | 2019 |
6. E-Laredo LBJ | 1-4 | 2-7 | vs. United South (5-0) Fri. | 2014 |
7. E- Laredo Nixon | 0-6 | 2-8 | BYE | 2017 |
Week 11 Scenarios:
United South has clinched the district title thanks to its 39-34 win over Eagle Pass two weeks ago.
Eagle Pass is guaranteed to represent the district in the 6A Division II playoffs as the smallest team in the district.
Beneath the top two, there are just two spots remaining for three teams to fight for.
United is in with a win over Alexander while Del Rio is in with a win over Eagle Pass or a United victory over Alexander.
Alexander is guaranteed a spot if it defeats United and Del Rio beats Eagle Pass.
However, if Alexander wins against United and Eagle Pass defeats Del Rio, there will be a three-way tie for the final two spots that will have to be decided by the rules set forth by the District 30-6A District Executive Committee.
District 31-6A
Team | District Record | Overall Record | Week 11 Opponent | Last Playoff Appearance |

8. E-Edinburg Economedes | 1-6 | 2-7 | @La Joya (2-5) Fri. | 2016 |
9. E-La Joya Juarez-Lincoln | 0-7 | 0-9 | vs. Edinburg North (3-4) Fri. | 2016 |
Week 11 Scenarios:
After an undefeated regular season, Edinburg Vela earned the district title. It is set to represent the district in the 6A Division II playoffs along with PSJA North.
Mission has a playoff spot wrapped up as well and will head to the 6A Division I playoff bracket.
That leaves just one playoff spot left to be fought for among three teams.
Edinburg is in with a win over PSJA Alamo. Edinburg North is in with a win over Juarez-Lincoln and a PSJA Alamo win against Edinburg.
PSJA Alamo faces the longest odds as it must beat Edinburg and hope Juarez-Lincoln can stun Edinburg North since Edinburg North holds a tiebreaker over both it and Edinburg.
District 32-6A
Team | District Record | Overall Record | Week 11 Opponent | Last Playoff Appearance |
1. X-Harlingen South | 6-0 | 9-0 | @Los Fresnos (5-1) Fri. | 2019 |

6. E-Brownsville Hanna | 2-4 | 3-6 | @Harlingen (4-2) Fri. | 2020 |
7. E-Brownsville Rivera | 0-6 | 2-7 | vs. Donna North (0-6) Thu. | 2014 |
8. E-Donna North | 0-6 | 1-7 | @Brownsville Rivera (0-6) Thu. | Never |
Week 11 Scenarios:
There is plenty to play for across District 32-6A this weekend. Not only have Harlingen South and Los Fresnos clinched playoff berths after missing out last year, but they are set to play for the district title in Los Fresnos on Friday.
Harlingen also has a playoff spot locked down since it defeated Weslaco and San Benito in October.
That means the showdown between San Benito and Weslaco on Friday will decide which team gets the final playoff ticket in District 32-6A.
