Bryan Key Players and Storylines

Bryan is coming off its first winless season since 2002, but one of its own is ready to get the Vikings back on track. Former Bryan quarterback Blake Joseph, a 2005 graduate, returns home to lead his former program. Joseph had most recently been the offensive coordinator at Denton Guyer. 

He has gotten right to work developing a young football team. A pair of juniors are expected to lead the backfield with dual threat quarterback Bobby Bryan, a returning letterman, and physical running back Tristan Turner. 6’0”, 180-pound senior Wyatt Brown will provide the Vikings a strong, reliable target in the passing game.

Defensively, the Vikings’ strength will be on the back end with physical cornerback Ke’Eldrick Harris and veteran safety Raul Garcia. Up front, defensive tackle Ashton Walker is a powerful presence who will be expected to influence opposing rushing attacks.

Bryan may have bottomed out a year ago, but Joseph will bring some new energy around the program. He wants his guys to focus on getting better week in and week out as the Vikings look to begin a climb back to being a playoff contender.
