The former 2-time Heisman trophy finalist will have to find another new home. He was an effective backup for Drew Brees in New Orleans during the early 2010s, and had a solid thing going in Kansas City for a while as well.
When he came to Philadelphia, he came as the highest paid backup quarterback in the NFL, giving depth to the Eagles behind rookie Carson Wentz. Now, with the signing of Nick Foles, Daniel is reportedly leaving to find a team that will let him compete for a starting job.
