Robinson was an important member of a re-tooled Giants defense that helped the team earn a playoff spot in 2016. After battling through injuries early on in his career with the Washington Redskins, Robinson played in every game for the Giants in 2016, finishing with 83 tackles on the year. He had signed a one-year deal with New York last season.
The linebacker took visits to Buffalo and Cincinnati, but it appears that he has ultimately decided to stay in the Big Apple. The terms of this new deal have not been released.
