Another free agent leaves the Cowboys, although this one might not be too much of a hit. Mark Sanchez, who had reached the end of his contract, is expected to sign with the Chicago Bears.
The #Bears are expected to sign former #Cowboys QB Mark Sanchez, source said. They are finalizing a deal. More depth to the QB room.

Mark Sanchez only saw time during a season ending loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in which Dallas rested most of their starters. Sanchez went 9 of 17 for 85 yards and two interceptions.
At one point, Sanchez was expected to be the quarterback of the future for the New York Jets, but struggled heavily without a very strong running game to back him up. Even though he’s still remembered for the infamous “Buttfumble”, he’s been at the very least a serviceable backup wherever he’s gone.
