If Rolando McClain is going to make it back into the NFL, he’s going to have to make some very huge choices. Right now, the choices he’s making don’t appear to be the best for his football career. On Thursday night, McClain was arrested in Hartselle, Alabama for a misdemeanor equipment violation, carrying a firearm without a permit, and second-degree possession of marijuana.
At one point, McClain was considered one of the NFL’s rising stars. He got a second chance with the Cowboys after his time with the Oakland Raiders went south, and when he wasn’t suspended, he played well. McClain was suspended for the first 10 games of the 2016 season and did not play a snap for the Cowboys. In December, McClain was suspended indefinitely.
