Awards keep piling up for Erik Ezukanma, the stellar wide receiver out of Keller Timber Creek. The latest is a nomination to the U.S. Army All-American bowl.

Ezukanma led his team in receiving with 1,447 yards on 88 catches, with a staggering 20 of those catches going for touchdowns. He was second on the team in rushing as well, going for 383 yards on just 29 carries. Ezukanma scored four times while rushing, as well.
Erik and the U.S. Army have one thing in common: this will be the last year that they will be involved with the All-American bowl. Ezukanma will, of course, be graduating, but the Army is ending their sponsorship with the bowl in 2018. How this affects the game that has become a staple in the high school football world remains to be seen.
