Nolan Catholic’s Vincent Paige transfers to Lewisville

On Monday evening, one of the state’s top defensive linemen/linebackers in the Class of 2022 Tweeted his announcement that he was transferring high schools:

Vincent Paige is choosing to transfer from Fort Worth Nolan Catholic High School to Lewisville where his father got an assistant coaching job with the Fighting Farmers.

“I’ve always had the dream that I would be able to spend my high school career with [my dad],” Vincent said on Twitter. “Recently we’ve been blessed with the opportunity to make my dream come true.”

On Tuesday, Paige posted two photos to Twitter after officially becoming a member of the Farmers’ squad:

The three-star recruit is rated as the 25th-best weak-side defensive end in the nation according to 247sports. He is also ranked as the ninth-best defensive lineman and the 63rd-best overall recruit in Texas for the class of 2022.

Paige was part of the 2019 Nolan Catholic squad that went 11-1 and won a district title. Nolan lost to Plano John Paul II in the second round of the TAPPS Division I playoffs.

Lewsiville was 7-4 last season and lost in the first round of the Class 6A Division I playoffs to Southlake Carroll.
