Fort Bend Marshall’s Devon Achane: CFB Player to Watch
On Saturday, Devon Achane and the Texas A&M Aggies will travel to Mile High country to take on the Colorado Buffaloes at the home venue of the Denver Broncos.
Devon Achane at Texas A&M
The Aggies are coming off a 41-10 win over Kent State. In that game, Achane went off. He gained 124 rushing yards on 12 carries and scored two touchdowns, including a 63-yard run. That’s 10 yards per carry, and Achane definitely gave coach Jimbo Fisher something to think about.
How to get Achane more touches?
As a true freshman in 2020, Achane gained 364 yards and four TDs rushing and scored a receiving TD. But he gave us a glimpse of what could be in the 41-27 win over North Carolina in the Orange Bowl in January. He rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries, averaging almost 12 yards per carry.
Achane has shown the Aggie faithful that he is capable of replicating his offensive output for the Aggies, just like he did at Fort Bend Marshall.
