College Station Runs Past Georgetown, 52- 28

On October 21st, the Colleg Station Cougars lost their second game of the season to Georgetown Eagles, 38-49. They got a second chance at Georgetown in the playoffs, and they dominated the game to move on in the playoffs.

In a close-fought first half, the Cougars were aided by two interceptions, one by  Jaxon Edwards and another by Tony Hamilton, and scored on the drives following those forced turnovers to take a 17-7 halftime lead. The second half was high scoring by both teams, but College Station took control of the game early in the third and never looked back, winning 52-28.

The Cougars advance to face the Smithson Valley Rangers. The Rangers are 12-1 and coming off a 31-13 win over Fulshear.
