Every year, Houston Lamar puts out at least one highly sought after recruit. This year, they’ve got three, and with Al’Vonte Woodard getting his invite to “The Opening” Finals today, all three of them have a shot at participating in the event.

Woodard’s invite coincides with invites to his two teammates, Anthony Cook and D’Shawn Jamison. Woodard is the only offensive player of the trio, both Cook and Jamison are defensive backs.
This could be a very excellent year for Houston Lamar if everything pans out. They have elite talent all over their team, and they could certainly improve on last year’s 11-2 record given the right circumstances.
