With the folding of the XFL, Globe Life Park was once again looking for someone to use its newly renovated football field. Enter Texas High School football.
On Friday, Arlington ISD and the Texas Rangers reached an agreement for the local schools of AISD to play football games at Globe Life Park – starting next season.
The XFL proved that the Globe could handle football on a high level, and now it will play host to another high level brand of football. AISD boasts some of the best levels of high school football in the country. According to @SportsDayHS, the globe could host area playoff games as well.
AISD will host 14 high school games at the Globe.
