Bobcats’ Fast Start Buries Falcons in District Win

Cy-Fair jumped out fast and never looked back, cruising past Jersey Village 41-16 on Friday night. The Bobcats scored 28 first-quarter points, highlighted by a 73-yard touchdown from Arnell Fontenot and a pair of defensive scores — a blocked punt return and a pick-six by Jaden Vaughn.

Chase Sanders added two touchdowns, and Noah Williams found the end zone to cap a dominant first half. The Falcons managed two late scores, but the early Bobcat blitz proved too much.

Cy-Fair improves to 4-1 and will host Houston Memorial next week, while Jersey Village (2-3) looks to bounce back on the road at Stratford.
