Breckenridge’s monthlong search is over.
After Casey Hubble stepped down as Buckaroos head coach last month, the program began looking for someone to fill the void left by his departure following six years with the team.
Friday morning, Breckenridge officially found a replacement.
@KTXSSports reported Casey Pearce was named the Buckaroos’ new head coach.

Pearce, who was the defensive coordinator at Longview, returns to Breckenridge after graduating from the school in 1993.
During Hubble’s tenure with the Buckaroos, the team compiled a record of 29-40 with five playoff appearances, but they struggled last season, finishing 1-9.
