Casey Hubble is going to Canton.
Not to be confused with the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Ohio, the Breckenridge head coach is relocating to take over the Eagles’ program after six years with the Buckaroos.
The news was reported by Brandon McAuliffe.
Hubble was named head coach at Breckenridge in 2014 after winning a pair of state championships in 2012 and 2013 as co-defensive coordinator at Denton Guyer.
During his tenure with the Buckaroos, Hubble compiled a record of 29-40 with five playoff appearances, but the team struggled last season, finishing 1-9.
Beginning next season, Canton will compete in District 7-4A, Division II along with Brownsboro, Bullard, Mexia and Van.
