Carter graduated this past year from Steele and officially becomes the 47th member of Air Force’s recruiting class of 2017.
Carter’s senior season turned out to be a good one as he finished with 48 tackles, seven pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and two interceptions (one of which he returned for a touchdown). His play earned him a second-team all-district selection and also helped the Knights earn a spot in the Class 6A Division II state championship game.
He is the 13th Texan to join the class as well.
