It didn’t take long for Clear Lake offensive lineman Frank Fillip to find his college home. On Friday, he announced he was heading north to play his college football at Colorado.

The three-star Houston prospect chose Colorado over offers from Baylor, Houston, and Louisiana Tech among others. Filip got an offer from Colorado back on May 25 and committed following his unofficial visit to Boulder on Friday.
He becomes the seventh commit and the second Texan in Colorado’s 2018 recruiting class. DeSoto offensive lineman Josh Jynes committed to the Buffaloes back in April.
Filip was a second-team all-district selection for the Clear Lake Falcons and he’ll look to anchor a team trying to get back to the postseason after a 3-7 season in 2016.
