The Dallas Cowboys are getting some more good news, even after clinched the number one seed and home field advantage earlier this weekend.
Defensive lineman Randy Gregory was activated from the Exempt/Commissioner Permission list, meaning he will be active for Monday night’s game against the Detroit Lions. Gregory was suspended for the first 14 games of the season for violations of the NFL’s drug policy.
The second-round pick in 2015 has yet to record a sack in his pro career, but his teammates have been excited about Gregory’s performance in practice.
Earlier in the week, owner Jerry Jones told 105.3 The Fan in Dallas that “it would surprise me if Randy Gregory doesn’t get a lot of snaps Monday night.” With DeMarcus Lawrence out for the final two games of the season, having Gregory back in the mix will be a very welcome sight for the Cowboys.
