Well, the Dallas Cowboys are finally beginning to wake up in free agency. Today, they re-signed running back Darren McFadden.

McFadden may be past his prime, as he’s been dealing with injury issues and has Elliot ahead of him on the depth chart for the foreseeable future. However, he’s a capable backup, the coaching staff is high on him, and his Arkansas connections to Jerry Jones mean that he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.
The Cowboys still have a lot of work to do moving forward, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, but this is still a step in the right direction.
