Williams’ football journey began at Crowley High School in Texas, where he amassed 300 tackles and 22 sacks. He continued his career at Louisiana Tech, recording 108 tackles and 10.5 sacks over three seasons. Declared for the 2021 NFL Draft, Williams was selected by the Eagles in the third round. Over four seasons with Philadelphia, he has accumulated 11.5 sacks and 100 total tackles.
In Super Bowl LIX, the Eagles’ defense executed a dominant performance, applying consistent pressure on Mahomes without resorting to blitzes. This strategy resulted in six sacks and 16 pressures, disrupting the Chiefs’ offense. Offensively, quarterback Jalen Hurts from Channelview, Texas delivered an MVP performance, completing 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns, while also leading the team in rushing with 72 yards and a touchdown.
