Baldwin chose the Sooners over offers from Arizona State, Houston, TCU and UTSA among others. He becomes the seventh commit in the Class of 2018 for Oklahoma and the second Texan commit in the class, joining cornerback Jordon Austin of Lancaster.
Baldwin had a big year for the Eagles in 2016, finishing with 46 tackles, 15 pass breakups and three interceptions. Those numbers earned him a first team All-District selection. The Eagles finished 2-8 this past season and will look to improve with their star corner being a focal point of their team in 2017.
