The Cowboys have been quietly making some moves in free agency. Their latest is the signing of Byron Bell, who most recently played for the Tennessee Titans.
The team has signed veteran offensive tackle Byron Bell to a one-year deal.

Bell will give the Cowboys veteran experience across the offensive line, which was needed after the retirement of Doug Free. He’s been an effective starter in the NFL before, but he’s coming off an ankle injury that saw him miss the entire 2016 season.
Ultimately, while this move addresses something, the Cowboys still need serious help everywhere on their defense. They’ve lost a lot from that side of the ball in free agency, and seemingly haven’t moved to correct that.
