The TCU Horned Frogs scored a big time commit in their own backyard on Friday. John Lanz, a three star center out of Denton Guyer, has committed to TCU.

Lanz had multiple other offers from schools such as SMU, Texas Tech, Arizona State, and Houston.
The Guyer Wildcats pulled a 9-3 record out of their 2016 season. The only teams they lost to were Cedar Hill, Allen, and DeSoto. They lose lots of key starters from both sides of the ball, but with powerful linemen like Lanz returning, they’ll be very good again.
