One of Duncanville’s finest has verbally committed. Keyshawn Johnson has committed to the University of Louisiana-Monroe, per a post on his Twitter account.

Johnson will spend his senior season in arguably the toughest district in Texas high school football. In the same month, the Panthers will play away games at Cedar Hill and at DeSoto. Last year, Duncanville enjoyed lots of success, only dropping games to local powers Cedar Hill, DeSoto, and Allen.
Duncanville will be missing a good chunk of their offense, but should have a strong defense with six starters returning from last year’s team that made it all the way to the quarterfinals. The 7-6A district had two teams make it to the quarterfinals and one team win a state championship. Johnson was a first team All-District performer.
