This would mark the preseason debut for the Cowboys running back and his expected range of plays will be somewhere from 8-12 snaps and is expected to be a similar workload as his preseason debut against the Seattle Seahawks last year, per reports from Dallas Morning News reporters Brandon George and Jon Machota.
It is also expected to be the only action the star running back will see this preseason and could very well be his only action until late October as Elliot is the current recipient of a six-game suspension for violation of the league’s personal conduct policy that is in the process of being appealed by Elliot and his legal team.
The Dallas Cowboys will face the Oakland Raiders with kickoff scheduled at 7:00 PM at AT&T Stadium.
