The New England Patriots are on the verge of capturing their fifth Super Bowl title in the Tom Brady era with this being their ninth Super Bowl appearance in franchise history and seventh under head coach Bill Belichick.
The Patriots have a fair amount of Texans on their roster, and offensive tackle Cameron Fleming being one of them. Fleming who was born in Fort Hood attended Houston Cypress Creek in high school and the offensive tackle was a fourth-round pick for the New England Patriots in 2014 after declaring for the draft at the end of his junior season at Stanford.
In his rookie season he played in nine games and was a member of the Patriots that won Super Bowl XLIX. Fleming made five starts this past season and appeared in all 16 regular season games for the Patriots. Fleming has aided a New England offense that ranked third in the league in points per game (27.6), fourth in both total yards per game (386.2) and passing yards per game (269.2) as well as seventh in the league in rushing yards per game (117.0) during the regular season. He was beneficial in helping running back LeGarrette Blount gain over 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career since his rookie season in 2010 and also lead the league in rushing touchdowns while setting the Patriots single-season record for rushing touchdowns at 18.
