The former 2013 second-round pick finished 2016 with 583 rushing yards and eight total touchdowns, as he split time with Seattle and Green Bay. He was officially released by Green Bay on May 1 after the Packers drafted three running backs which includes former UTEP standout Aaron Jones.
In a corresponding move, the Colts also released running back Brandon Radcliff.
Michael becomes the latest signee in a crowded backfield that includes Frank Gore, Robert Turbin, rookie Marlon Mack and Josh Ferguson. This is the fifth team that Michael will be a part of since he was drafted in 2013. He has also spent time with the Cowboys and Redskins along with his time with the Packers and Seahawks.
